Name and logo
The code of GuestCraft is free software under the licenses described in README.md. The name “GuestCraft” and the logo identify the project; this policy explains how to use them so that people can tell the official project apart from modified versions. It is a usage policy, not a statement that the name is a registered trademark.
You may, without asking
Section titled “You may, without asking”- Say that your installation, service or product runs GuestCraft, is based on GuestCraft or integrates with GuestCraft.
- Use the name and the unmodified logo to link to the project, in articles, talks and documentation.
- Run an unmodified version and call it GuestCraft.
Please do not
Section titled “Please do not”- Call a modified version “GuestCraft”, or publish an app in a store with that name, unless the changes are limited to configuration and branding options the project provides. Use your own name, and you may add “based on GuestCraft”.
- Use the name or the logo in a way that suggests the project endorses, operates or supports your installation or service.
- Use the name in your company, product or domain name in a way that could be confused with the project.
White-label builds of the mobile app (technical analysis, chapter 14) carry the installer’s own name and icon.
The logo files, their colours and how to use them are in docs/assets/logo.
